Hurricane Michael

As everyone has heard, the hurricane called Michael decimated the towns of Panama City and Mexico Beach.  We were fortunate in our area not to be in the path of destruction.  This morning my fellow Earth Ambassadors and I made oatmeal and coffee for some of the victims of this mass destruction. We also brought supplies and such for the people of these areas.  You can see pictures of the devastation but until you are there the photos do not do it justice.  Buildings, trees and utility poles uprooted and shredded.  Houses everywhere destroyed and the people have been displaced.  It is a very sad and unfortunate situation for many.  If you have the means, please donate to local charities..if not money, blankets, clothes and food items are greatly appreciated.  If you have any used items that you can donate, please do!  You can send them to I or find a charity that you feel comfortable with.  The people need your help!!!!

What a close up to the effect of the hurricane. Glad your family is safe. Amazing how the roads are cleared up! But the photos are truly devastating.
