We were fortunate enought to be invited to go on a 3 Day Disney adventure with my parents. They brought Ella and I with them. Our first day was spent in the Magic Kingdom. We stayed in the Disney campground in one of their cabins. A cute campground tucked away in a wildnerness area close to the parks. From the campground it was a boat ride to the doorstep of the Magic Kingdom. We arrived as the doors to the park opened. It was a rainy start to the day but that didnt stop us from our adventure. We rode all the classic rides as we spent the whole day and night in the park. I finally got my reunion with Big Al, he is one of the bears in the Country Bear Jamboree. As a child, I had a Big Al stuffed animal that I loved. We tracked him down in the park and had some photo opportunities. There was an amazing firework display over Cinderallas castle. It was an amazing display, like Disney always does, they lit up the castle with different characters to the sounds of fireworks and the Disney soundtrack. We finally retreated back to the cabin at closing time. Super tired and super fulfilled.
On day two, we spent our time in Epcot. We arrived at opening time and got the jump on some of the rides before the crowd descended. Epcot is an amazing educational park that has not changed a bit over the years. We hit most of the rides first as the country portion did not open to 11. We then took a tour of the many countries Epcot has to offer. Its always fun to see the different cultures and learn things about them. We had a date with the Super Bowl so we left the park around 530 to head to the cabin. It was a perfect day with a perfect ending as the Kansas City Chiefs won their first Super Bowl in many years.
The last day of the journey was spent at Hollywood Studios. The main attraction here was the new Star Wars section of the park. It did not disappoint as the attention to detail that Disney creates is unmatched. It felt as though we were traveling through a Star Wars world far away. We even got to meet Chewbacca! Stephen and I rode the two big people rides in Rock n Roll Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. The ladies decided to opt out and chose the shopping route. We ended up leaving about 3 for the journey back home. It was an awesome trip and am so grateful we were invited to go. Another successful Disney Adventure!
Loved it!!! Linda told me she found Big Al for you too! Great memories for everyone.
