As of recent, the kiddos and I have taken a few road trips to some of Florida’s hidden gems. From Falling Waters State Park, the highest waterfall in Florida at 100 ft.; to Florida Caverns, a labyrinth of underground caves and caverns; and Morrison Springs, a crystal clear spring that is absolutely stunning above and below the surface. Falling Waters plunges 100 feet into a sinkhole. There are other sinkholes in the area which the Seminole Indians used as hideouts and shelter. Florida Caverns is an extensive system of cavern with stalagmites and stalactites. Morrison Springs are one of many spring systems throughout Florida. This particular one is especially popular with divers as there is a cave system in the springs.
